GGD Newsletter For August 1, 2023

Just like last month, our investment portfolio has once again reached a new all-time high! A few more months like this and Baby GGD’s college savings will be fully funded!

Now that I mention it...I'd like to announce that Baby GGD has finally arrived!! I can confirm that he has a hearty appetite, an extremely efficient digestive tract, and hurculean lung capacity. I’m also excited to say that he’s been staying up each and every night in eager anticipation of our inevitable early retirement. At least that’s what I’ve been telling myself. I can’t fathom any other reason why someone would think it’s ok to be awake FOREVER. Oh, the joys of FIRE and fatherhood!

Monthly Financial Update (Full Breakdown):
This month our investment portfolio grew by 3.25%. That puts us at another new all-time high of 135.0% of our retirement number!
