Sales Tax Holiday
The State of Missouri sales tax holiday weekend is coming up August 4-6. Apparel and Footwear less than $100 is tax exempt. We’ll have some older past season models on sale for $100 or less that weekend so come check it out. We’ll put up a reminder on our social as well as we get closer.

Focus On: Team Running Niche
We’ve had some racing happening recently with the Spring 2023 Lydiard Training cycle coming to an end. On June 17 several TRN’s competed up in Duluth, MN in the Grandma’s Marathon and Half Marathon. Shout outs to: Adam Walker 1:05:10 in the 13.1 and 9th overall. On June 24 The Macklind Mile took place and 29 TRN’s participated. It’s a fun race that’s easy to slip in around training. We do want to call out Kathy Sprehe who set a course record for 44 age group of 5:24 and Sarah White who won the competitive mile in 4:57. Demo Runs
On July 12 we hosted Asics for a demo run. Lots of shoes were tried and cold beverages enjoyed compliments of Urban Chestnut. Our next brand demo is August 9 when we will host ON Running. Join us for a 3-mile group social run/walk and try some ON’s in the process. And Urban will supply the cold beverages. Arrive by 6:00 PM to select your ON shoes to demo. Run/Walk goes at 6:30.

Group Social Run
 Join us every Wednesday at 6:30 for a 3-mile group social run/walk. Every second Wednesday of the month will be our “Beer Run”, featuring a cooler stocked with beverages for some post-run social time. All paces are welcome, runners and walkers. Generally, 35-60 folks come and there is a wide variety of paces. We put folks into groups such as 7:00 pace, 8:00, 9:00, 10:00, 11:00, 12:00, 13:00 and walkers.
