Representatives from GEBC, Police, Syscom, Ausgrid and Council took a proactive step by conducting an after-hours walk through the CBD, starting from Kibble Park and covering Burns Place, Baker St Car Park,  waterfront park and Mann St. During this productive walk-through, they identified several areas with low lighting and promptly recognized the opportunity to upgrade the current lighting, with a particular focus on footpath lighting. These improvements will be seamlessly integrated into the upcoming "Her Way" project, enhancing safety and ensuring a well-lit and inviting environment for everyone.

TAFE NSW is in the final stages of presenting a business case to the NSW Treasury for relocating from their current site. Securing funding is crucial for this relocation. They eagerly anticipate a positive announcement during the September state budget. Relocating could bring better facilities, improved infrastructure and increased capacity to serve more students. If approved, it could positively impact the local community, fostering economic growth and providing a modern learning environment. TAFE NSW's dedication to this project reflects their commitment to quality education and service. There is a sense of optimism and anticipation surrounding the announcement.
Industree Group Stadium hosted our GEBC July event in their marquee area, adopting a "Business in Sport" press conference style. The event featured esteemed guest speakers such as Paul Chapman from Central Coast Sports College, Emily Husband, the Mariners Women’s A League Coach, Lawrie McKinna from RDA CC, Liesl Tesch MP, a dual gold-winning Paralympian, and Stewart Smith. Stewart Smith enthusiastically shared exciting details about the upcoming World Water Ski Champions scheduled for Brisbane Water in November 2023. The event brought together a diverse group of speakers and attendees, fostering a sense of enthusiasm and anticipation for the upcoming sports ventures in the region.

The 1st Quarter of 2023 saw a net increase in crane numbers on the Central Coast, bringing the total to 13, including notable sites like Glass Apartments in The Entrance and 35 Scenic Highway in Terrigal. In Gosford, there were 13 cranes across eleven sites as of the end of June. Some prominent developments include  The Rumbalara Residences and Vue Mer, each with two cranes in operation.
Several projects are contributing to the growth of Gosford, such as Azure, 1 Shortland Street, Central Coast Quarter, The Archibald by Aland, Vue Mer Residences, and others. These developments feature residential apartments, luxury townhouses, mixed-use towers, and even a 5-star hotel.
Many businesses and residents have expressed enthusiasm for the construction activity in the area, seeing it as a positive sign of the Central Coast's awakening. Despite past challenges, private enterprise recognises the potential in Gosford, acknowledging its appealing lifestyle and location for families and investors. The developers involved are renowned for delivering quality housing, reflecting the promising future of the region
