What a summer! I could be referring to the record breaking temps in Arizona, but those of you who know me know that I am talking about our AMAZING achievement being recognized as the Harriet Macht Outstanding Alumnae Panhellenic Award for 2021-2023!!! I cannot be more proud of this recognition for our group. Everyone contributed to this with time volunteering and actively participating in our various philanthropic and social activities. Thank you all for your efforts and get ready for another fun year!
I want to thank the Events Committee and Scholarship Committee for their efforts which led to a great afternoon at Arizona Country Club for the Celebration of Sisterhood. We awarded 30 scholarships (the highest amount ever!) and recognized 18 alumnae as Women of Distinction. The raffle baskets had some very creative themes and we appreciate the time sisters put into their development. If you missed the event, be sure to put April 27, 2024 on your calendar now!
The Executive Leadership Team met last weekend to develop the calendar and discuss plans for this upcoming year - lots of great ideas for us to continue our success and increase opportunities to engage and interact as sisters. Check out the calendar of events below so you can save the dates and be ready to join us. We look forward to celebrating our win at the first meeting of the year September 11th at 6pm - email with details will be coming out soon. I look forward to collaborating with all of our delegation to continue providing scholarships to Greek women in Arizona!

Celebration of Sisterhood April 30th at Arizona Country Club
Our annual Celebration of Sisterhood (new name coming this year...) was a wonderful luncheon at Arizona Country Club. The weather was perfect, decorations were festive, and food and beverages were wonderful. We had 120 sisters join us from 23 Panhellenic organizations. Our Women of Distinction and Scholarship Recipients were celebrated and recognized. The very special treat of having Mary Jo West - Delta Zeta - as our guest speaker. Her insight into aspects of life we all share was thought provoking and emotional for all of us. Thank you to all chapters who donated raffle baskets - we appreciate your generosity. The Events Committee created a great environment for pictures - check out our social media for highlights. If you have pictures to share, please upload them to our Photo Circle account. We are excited to announce that next year's event will be at AZCC again - this year we will have a Saturday brunch and the Committee is already working on plans for another amazing event!
