Welcome to the August newsletter!
We are in the final stretch of the summer holidays and while some are enjoying a well-deserved rest and others are back at work, our efforts to safeguard religious heritage have not taken a break.
This month it's time to catch up on what's been happening in our network so far this year. Have a look at our recap article on FRH's 2023 activities and visit our section on the European Year of Skills if you missed any of our interviews with craftspeople.
We remind you that the FRH Photo Competition 2023 and the Innovator of the Year are still open for applications. Send us your best photos of your local religious heritage or the new places you have visited this summer, or submit your project for the protection and promotion of heritage to the Innovator award.
And although it is still summer, we are already preparing for autumn with new activities. Mark your calendars for our next FRH Masterclass on why and how to reconstruct religious heritage, the Architectures of the Soul Conference (supported by FRH) on the future of religious heritage, and, if you are already a member, the 2023 Annual General Meeting, which will take place in October.
Check out our EU news for a sneak preview of what's in store for the European Heritage Days 2023 which will start at the end of August and this year will promote three European Heritage Label sites.
We know time is money, but did you know that some clocks measure more than that? Discover six amazing church clocks in our Religiana section.
See you next month!
