8/5 Bed Brigade |
 |
Several Rotarians with friends and family along with Rock City Church members built 28 beds in 1.5 hours on Saturday, 8/5! AND Bed Brigade recognized our Club’s support with a plaque in their facility and gifted one to us too. Thanks to all who have helped over the past few years! |

8/10 Meeting |
 |
Great program at the Rotary Club of Westerville lunch Thursday. Brooke Burns, Chief Operations Officer of Orthopedic One, told us all about the expanding, physician-owned network of orthopedic practitioners and the new 80,000+ square foot Orthopedic One headquarters on Polaris Parkway at Africa Road. We also heard from Jodi Fletcher about an award for the club from the Bed Brigade organization, which we have partnered with to build more than 200 beds for needy children in the last three years. We also heard updates on our SEVERAL activities on the horizon, including our Foundation Golf Outing Sept. 18. And members volunteered so many Happy Bucks, we almost didn’t have time for Ms. Burns’ program — all in the comfy confines of our new weekly lunch home, the 1847 Room in the Otterbein Campus Center.
