UPDATE FOR 38: SEPTEMBER 2023

Congratulations and thank you to everyone that attended and contributed to the 2023 APA Convention. Plan now to attend APA 2024 in Seattle, WA from August 8-10, 2024!

The Society for Health Psychology is excited to announce a new Interest Group, the

Consultation-Liaison Psychology Interest Group!

The goals of the new Interest Group are to enhance training and education, cultivate professional development, and inspire outcome-based clinical care and innovative applied research initiatives.

If you have any questions and/or wish to join the CLP IG, please contact the Administrative Officer at apadiv38@verizon.net!

Voting has begun for eligible APA members for APA President-Elect, Members-at-Large and Early Career Psychologist Members-at-Large.  Full and Fellow APA members should have received an email from the APA Elections office with voting instructions. If you did not receive your e-voting link, and you believe you are a current APA member, please contact the APA Elections Office.

At the recent APA convention, the Society for Health Psychology’s Executive Committee reviewed the statements and qualifications of all the candidates and voted to officially endorse Eric M. Butter, PhD and Debra M. Kawahara, PhD for APA President in the upcoming election.

The SfHP Executive Committee encourages all eligible members to consider the qualifications, experience, and goals of the candidates, and to vote in the upcoming elections. Video statement from all the candidates may be viewed here.
