Reminder: Warehouse Closure
Please note that all of The Idaho Foodbank’s warehouses will be closed for Labor Day on Monday, September 4th, 2023. If you need help rescheduling your pick-up or delivery, please contact your Idaho Foodbank Representative or email partnerships@idahofoodbank.org. Please keep in mind that closures may shorten your ordering window. If you have questions about when to place your order, don’t hesitate to reach out for clarification!
Update Contact Information
If you need to update your organization’s contact list, please click on the following link. This will help us provide important information to the correct people. We want to ensure that we are reaching out to the best point of contact for our partners.
Agency Express Reporting
The questions on the People Served Reports have changed. Our hope is that the questions will make it easier for your organization to track your numbers. We will also be sending a PowerPoint Presentation to help train you in reporting. If you need any further assistance, please reach out to your local representative.
POPP Items
The Power of Purchase Program (POPP) is a collaborative purchasing opportunity for IFB Partners. The Idaho Foodbank purchases key items at a quantity discount and makes these items available to participating Partners at significant cost savings compared to retail. This program is optional. You will be seeing some items on the shopping list that have a charge on them, so please take a moment at the end to review your order. We will also be sending more information about this program soon, so please keep an eye out for that e-mail.
Idaho Hunger Relief Task Force
Partners, please consider taking the survey below. The Idaho Hunger Relief Task Force is hosting a Summit on Idaho Hunger and Food Security on October 12, 2023. The Summit gathers individuals and organizations throughout the state to learn about hunger and food insecurity. For this year’s Summit, The Task Force is asking individuals with insights into food insecurity to complete a survey on Idaho research needs on the topic. The goal is to prioritize the research topics needed to support programs and policies that help address food insecurity in our state.
The 20-question survey takes about 10 minutes to complete. Your responses are anonymous. However, the Task Force is raffling six, $25 Amazon gift cards in appreciation of your time. If you would like to participate in the raffle, please submit your email address at the end of the survey when prompted.
If you or your organization are interested in attending the 2023 Hunger Summit, please contact Evan Curry at evcurry@idahofoodbank.org or 208-914-3834 for further details.
