Hello inhabitants of the Morgue!

Five years ago today, an idea was born and unleashed. Five years ago a little tiny dream became a monolith reality. I had envisioned back then where I wanted Rue Morgue Records to go, and five years down the track - it is achieving all I set it out to be. With a helluva lot more to come.

The online store has sold thousands or records and assorted ephemera and merchandise.

The record label side has released over 14 seven inch vinyl records, 4 twelve inch vinyl records with two to come, and put close to 40 Australian Hard Rock bands' music on vinyl for the first time in their careers.

It has become my full time job and demands my attention 24 hours a day and I would not have it any other way. I developed this to be an all encompassing beast and it is achieving that tenfold.

To all our customers, holy fuck, this could not have been done without you. It would have all failed way back when. But it hasn't. You support it and feed it and help it grow with each passing day. I just cannot thank you enough!

To all the artists we have worked with, wow, it's been amazing putting your music to vinyl and watching so many of you grow and grow.
