Find Joy in Nature
Dear Reader,
It is summer in British Columbia at the moment and it's really hot.
For this week I want to give you a joy assignment. It doesn't matter where you are in the world - if you're in a place where it's summer right now, or it's winter, or whatever the season is - I want you to find something from nature that you can celebrate, and you can look at and you can marvel at its beauty.
For our purpose today I brought a rose: a white rose, a beautiful rose that comes from British Columbia, where we live. If you look at this rose, you look at the intricateness of the rose, how beautiful it's been put together and how all of these leaves come together, and just for a second sit and wonder and look at the rose, it'll help you find more joy in your day.
Now perhaps if you're not able to find something like a rose, you can just simply pick any other piece of greenery from nature, like for example a fern frond like this. Just look at the graphics and look at how beautiful it is and how intricately it was put together.
By sitting and marveling at these wonders of creation of nature we get a peace over ourselves and we're away from the hustle and bustle and all the negativity of the world. It takes us away from war and pestilence and negativity, and all the stuff in the news, and it brings us back to a place where we connect to nature.
It'll bring you a ton of joy, like it's bringing me, and I hope you'll find tons of joy this coming week.
Have a great week.
