I have no woodworking experience

I get this question a lot. I have no woodworking experience. Can I build a guitar with you? Many people think you have to be an expert woodworker to build a guitar and therefore, shy away from coming to build a guitar with me in my 6 Day Guitar Building class because they feel intimidated.

Recently I had a lady come build a guitar with me and she had no woodworking experience. However, she left with a concert quality instrument that she and I built together in only six days! That included a French polished shellac finish as well.

"When my friend Mike suggested I build a guitar I was both excited and terrified at the concept. I am a real beginner at playing the guitar and the only tools for woodworking I am comfortable with are sandpaper and the pencil.
