Invitation to Community Forum & Details for Camp Weekend

Dear friends,
We are excited for our upcoming visioning retreat and community forum! We look forward to welcoming many familiar faces and seeing new ones at the camp weekend, and sharing the harvest's bounty with a feast and classic camp zabava.

We want to hear from folks in all the different groups from this big folk camp family tree (singers, trad/land skills folk, artisans/artists, dancers/musicians, community organizers/ camp organizers, koliadnyky, volunteers, etc.)... everyone who has a stake in this community!

Friday, August 25th, Plast camp, Grafton, ON

Community Forum – Evening (dinner 6pm, discussion to follow)

If you have a stake in the Folk Camp/Kosa Kolektiv community, we invite you to come and participate!

We will have dinner together and participate in a community activity set up to generate ideas, connections, and gather information as to what is important to our community and what skills and services we all can bring to the table. It will be fun!

Folk Camp Weekend

Bring your song books, your crafts, your dancing shoes, instruments, traditional garb, and your smiles! And enjoy some of our classics: sing alongs, craft sharing, folk camp musicians jam, dance, silent auction, bazaar*, bonfire hangs….

Saturday Night we are hosting a harvest Feast and Zabava (ie.Dance Party)!

Haute Goat Farm, Port Hope
Family friendly festival featuring local food, music, fun activities. Folk Camp will be providing craft activities, nature walk, dance workshop, storytelling, & more. Join us there~
