- Career Services has organized an opportunity for local recruiters to come and talk with students.
- Some of the recruiters will be looking for Social Sciences majors.
- A give away of $4,000 dollars worth of campus gift cards will also be available at this event.
- MSU Law School Admissions Officer
- MSU Admissions Officer Kimberly Wilkes will be on campus next week - Thurs Sept 7 from 4-6 pm.
- She will be in AOB 201 to meet with students interested in law school.
- She can talk both about Law School admissions in general and MSU particularly.

- Faculty "TechTalks"
- Monday, September 11, from 12:00 - 1 pm.
- These talks will feature 2-minute faculty presentations focused on their research interests.
- This will be a great chance to learn more about your professors!
- Study Away Fair
- Please join us at the Study Away Fair on Thursday September 14 from 10 am to 2 pm.
- The fair will be located between the library and the EERC.
- Many of our study away trips will be represented there.
- Department Welcome at Hancock Beach
- Mark your calendars for Friday Sept 15 at 5:30 p.m.
- The Forge Food Truck will be serving us again, however this time we will also have some vegetarian options available.
- This event is a great opportunity to meet all the new students in the department.
- We will have some games, volleyball, and lots to drink.
