H AOPA Hellas είχε σειρά συναντήσεων με στελέχη του Υπουργείου Τουρισμού, όπου μεταξύ άλλων, συζητήθηκε και το θέμα της Επιτροπής Αεροπορικού Τουρισμού. Οι εκπρόσωποι του υπουργείου δεσμεύτηκαν να επικοινωνήσουν με το υπουργείο Υποδομών και Μεταφορών ώστε να συνεχιστεί το συλλογικό έργο της Επιτροπής.

Η Πανελλήνια Ένωση Πιλότων συνεχίζει με επιτυχία την πρωτοβουλία «Ιπτάμενοι Ιατροί» για τη μεταφορά γιατρών, φαρμάκων και νοσηλευτικού προσωπικού στα ακριτικά νησιά, στο πλαίσιο δράσεων κοινωνικής προσφοράς, σε συνεργασία με ενδιαφερόμενους δήμους και το Υπουργείο Υγείας.

3. Η AOPA Hellas στηρίζει έμπρακτα τη Γενική Αεροπορία

Αεροσκάφος Γενικής Αεροπορίας που ήρθε στην Ελλάδα για διακοπές μέσω Ιωαννίνων «LGIO» αντιμετώπισε πρόβλημα στο ελαστικό ενός τροχού. Ελλείψει τεχνικού για να αναλάβει την αποκατάσταση της ζημιάς και με τον πιλότο να βρίσκεται σε ξένη χώρα, η AOPA Hellas έσπευσε να προσφέρει τη βοήθεια της, χωρίς να εξετάσει αν ο πιλότος είναι μέλος της AOPA ή όχι. Η AOPA Hellas κινητοποίησε τα μέλη της στην ευρύτερη περιοχή και εντόπισε τεχνικό στο Μεσολόγγι, ο οποίος μετέβη στα Ιωάννινα για να επισκευάσει το λάστιχο.

Η Αρχή Πολιτικής Αεροπορίας ανακοίνωσε την έκδοση ενημερωτικού AIC στο AIP Ελλάδας με ημερομηνία δημοσίευσης 21 Σεπτεμβρίου 2023 που αφορά στην αλλαγή του τρόπου αναγγελίας της ενεργοποίησης περιορισμένων/επικίνδυνων περιοχών ΑΜΑ εντός ATHINAI FIR/HELLAS UIR.

5. H 11η Athens Flying Week ολοκληρώθηκε με επιτυχία
02 & 03 Σεπτεμβρίου 2023
Η Athens Flying Week, το μεγαλύτερο αεροπορικό υπερθέαμα της Ανατολικής Μεσογείου ολοκληρώθηκε με απόλυτη επιτυχία προσφέροντας σε περισσότερους από 130.000 θεατές μια μοναδική αεροπορική εμπειρία! Εντυπωσιακές ελληνικές και ξένες συμμετοχές όπως το αμερικανικό F-35 Lightning II Demo Team, οι Fursan Al Emarat από τα Ηνωμένα Αραβικά Εμιράτα, το F-16 Dream Viper από το Βέλγιο, το «κόκκινο» F-16 Dannebrog 800 από τη Δανία, το γαλλικό Rafale Solo Display, οι Ισπανοί Patrulla Aguila, οι Saudi Hawks και το Typhoon Solo Display από τη Σαουδική Αραβία! Από το Airshow δεν θα μπορούσαν να λείπουν τα πτητικά μέσα των ελληνικών Ενόπλων Δυνάμεων, μεταξύ των οποίων, τα Rafale, F-16 Viper, Mirage 2000-5, F-4 Phantom καθώς και τα F-16 ΖΕΥΣ και Τ-6 ΔΑΙΔΑΛΟΣ! Καθηλωτικοί ελιγμοί και μοναδικές εναέριες χορογραφίες ενθουσίασαν το κοινό και βοήθησαν στην προβολή της χώρας στο εξωτερικό αλλά και στη διάδοση της αεροπορικής ιδέας!

H AOPA Hellas, προσπαθεί και αγωνίζεται με σκοπό να ξεπεραστούν τα εμπόδια που έχουν οδηγήσει την Γενική Αεροπορία στην χώρα μας να κατέχει μία από τις τελευταίες θέσεις στην Ευρώπη. Κανείς δεν περισσεύει σε αυτή την προσπάθεια.
H AOPA Hellas προτρέπει τα μέλη της που αντιμετωπίζουν αρνητική συμπεριφορά από εντεταλμένους υπαλλήλους ή άλλα όργανα των υπηρεσιών εδάφους των αεροδρομίων μας, και που αμφισβητούν ή θίγουν το νόμιμο δικαίωμα των μελών στις πτήσεις τους, να καταγγέλλουν τέτοια περιστατικά. Η ΑΟΡΑ Hellas διερευνά τις περιπτώσεις που έρχονται σε γνώση της, προκειμένου να τις παραπέμψει στις αρμόδιες ελεγκτικές Αρχές για την αναζήτηση ευθυνών και την επιβολή των νόμιμων κυρώσεων, όπου απαιτείται.
Αν δεν είσαι ταμειακά ενήμερο μέλος, σε καλούμε να ξαναγίνεις ενεργό μέλος μας γιατί έτσι βοηθάς κι εσύ την προσπάθεια μας. Όσο περισσότεροι είμαστε, τόσο πιο δυνατή είναι η φωνή μας. Και μη ξεχνάμε ότι η AOPA Hellas δεν έχει εισοδήματα ή επιχορηγήσεις, τα μόνα έσοδα της είναι οι συνδρομές των μελών μας.

AOPA Hellas held a series of meetings with officials from the Ministry of Tourism, during which, among other things, the issue of the Aviation Tourism Committee was discussed. Ministry representatives committed to communicating with the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport to continue the collaborative work of the Committee.
2. “Flying Doctors” on SKAI TV

The Hellenic Pilots Association continues its successful "Flying Doctors" initiative for the transportation of doctors, medicines, and medical personnel to the remote islands as part of social contribution activities, in collaboration with interested municipalities and the Ministry of Health.

3. AOPA Hellas actively supports General Aviation

A General Aviation aircraft that arrived in Greece for holidays via Ioannina "LGIO" faced a problem with one of its wheels' tires. Lacking technical support to address the damage and with the pilot in a foreign country, AOPA Hellas rushed to offer assistance, regardless of whether the pilot was a member of AOPA or not. AOPA Hellas mobilized its members in the broader area and located a technician in Messolonghi, who traveled to Ioannina to repair the tire.

4. Changes in the procedure for announcing the activation of Restricted/Dangerous areas

The Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority announced the issuance of an informational AIC in the AIP Greece with a publication date of September 21, 2023, regarding changes in the procedure for announcing the activation of restricted/dangerous areas within the ATHINAI FIR/HELLAS UIR.

5. Athens Flying Week is successfully concluded
September 02 & 03, 2023
Athens Flying Week – Tanagra International Airshow, the largest aviation spectacle in the Eastern Mediterranean, concluded with absolute success, offering a unique aviation experience to more than 130,000 spectators! Impressive Greek and foreign participants such as the American F-35 Lightning II Demo Team, the Fursan Al Emarat from the United Arab Emirates, the F-16 Dream Viper from Belgium, the 'red' F-16 Dannebrog 800 from Denmark, the French Rafale Solo Display, the Spanish Patrulla Aguila, the Saudi Hawks, and the Typhoon Solo Display from Saudi Arabia! The Airshow featured the aircraft of the Greek Armed Forces, including Rafale, F-16 Viper, Mirage 2000-5, F-4 Phantom, as well as F-16 ZEUS and T-6 DAIDALOS! Captivating maneuvers and unique aerial choreographies enthralled the audience and contributed to showcasing the country internationally and spreading the idea of aviation!

AOPA Hellas is fighting in order to overcome the obstacles that have led General Aviation in our country to hold one of the last positions in Europe. No one is spared in this endeavour.
ΑΟΡΑ Hellas urges its members who are confronted with a negative attitude by authorized employees or other representatives of ground services, that dispute their legal right to flights, to report such incidents. AOPA Hellas investigates the incidents coming to our knowledge, in order to refer them to the Authorities for further investigation and possible imposition of penalties according to the law.
