This month's meeting will be held in the concert hall at the new Music Building at BYU. We'll have the opportunity to have all three concert grands on stage (Fazioli 308, Steinway D, Yamaha CFX). We'll ask people to play the same 2-3 minute excerpt on each piano, then discuss the differences in touch and tone as listeners and as pianists.
Before the technical begins, there will be 2 tours of the music building. The first will start at 5:30pm and the second will start at 6pm. Each tour should last about an hour, and the technical will start at 7pm. The tours will begin in the piano technology shop, which is located on the west side of the first floor.
