Happy September, SWE GGS Members!
Our first event for the fiscal year is this month! UCB SWE is looking for industry professionals for their mentorship program. Read on for ways to get involved with our SWE GGS section.

Annual Icebreaker
Join us for the SWE GGS Annual Icebreaker, a fun-filled event to kick off the year! It's the perfect opportunity to meet new friends and reconnect with familiar faces. Get ready for an exciting afternoon of games, icebreakers, and laughter. Whether you're a seasoned member or new to SWE GGS or just want to know what SWE GGS does, this event is open to everyone. We encourage you to bring your friends along too! Don't miss out on this opportunity to connect with your officers and fellow SWE GGS members and have a blast. Look out for the purple SWE tablecloth. See you there!

UCB SWE x GGS Mentorship Program
The UCB SWE x GGS Mentorship Program pairs industry professionals with gender-minority students interested in the industry. Pairs meet virtually at least once a month so the student connects with and receives help from an industry guide. The program lasts for an academic semester (September - December). The purpose of the program is to connect students with someone in their field of interest in the industry. Throughout the mentorship, the mentee guides every meeting with questions, seeking career-related advice, discussion, and support. More details about the program here.
