Tango belongs in the dance halls, cafes, streets, plazas, and why not? On a stage!
The "Tango Show" is an important part of its culture. It has traveled the world given tango broad exposure, and given work to many incredibly talented artists.
Still...it is sometimes seen by milongueros as "not the real tango."
Well, not us. We LOVE IT. We think it is important to the past, present, and future of tango. We see it as a developing voice and language, a unique way to express humanness. And we are grateful that it has given us some of the best tango dancers and teachers of our time.
Nomad Tango is committed to promoting and expanding all forms of tango, and collaborating with a wide range of artists to bring the art to wide audiences and seasoned dancers alike.
