Dear friends,
This Sunday is the 21st in Ordinary Time. In the gospel Jesus gives Simon-Peter a new name, he calls him Cephas which means rock and so on S.Peter the whole edifice of the church is built. Pope Francis is the successor of S.Peter and so we pray for the day when the whole church throughout the world will be one again in union with Peter and his successors. The repairs to the cracks and restoration of the interior of the church are progressing well and we hope that the scaffolding removal will begin tomorrow and completed next week. Mass on Sunday will be outside on the courtyard. Please put Saturday 30th September in your diary for 10am Choral Mass with Bishop Jonathan followed by drinks and canapés with short talks. 12-2pm buffet lunch and homemade cakes. All welcome
Please give regularly!
Giving regularly supports our ministry and keeps the doors open everyday of the year for all. It is particularly important at the moment when the church is closed and our visitor donations have vanished. If you are a UK taxpayer then we can also claim gift aid and increase your donation. If you feel that our church life feeds your faith then please support us Click here to sign up. Every little helps....
