Excitement is in the air with semesters and quarters beginning to start - AMATYC is here to help as you prepare for students and another great academic year. Visit AMATYC’s homepage and myAMATYC to learn something new, to share your ideas, and to make plans to attend a webinar or the national conference. Here are just a few things happening with AMATYC:
- AMATYC Annual Conference – Math’s a Hit!
- November 9th - 12th in Omaha, Nebraska
- Registration is now open!
- It’s Back! The AMATYC Regional Scholarship
- The AMATYC Regional Scholarship is BACK and ready to help you get to the annual conference in Omaha! Apply now! The deadline is September 1st.
- The Regional Scholarship helps one AMATYC member from each region defray the costs of attending the annual conference. Each scholarship is in the amount of a discounted conference registration and any AMATYC regular member can apply. Winners are selected by the regional Vice Presidents in a random drawing.
- Each region awards one scholarship and an additional eight will be awarded randomly (thank you, AMATYC Foundation!)
- Support the AMATYC Regional Scholarship program by donating to the AMATYC Foundation and find out more at https://amatyc.org/donations.
- AMATYC Foundation Travel Grants
- The AMATYC Foundation is offering travel grants of up to $400 to AMATYC members to enhance professional development.
- Grant funds can be used to help defray the costs of attending conferences such as AMATYC affiliate conferences, MAA section meetings, NOSS chapter conferences, and other mathematics or teaching related conferences.
- Grants are awarded at random - if you didn’t receive one last time, apply again! The next drawings will occur October 2nd!

- Online Community Assistant Coordinator (OCAC) - The primary responsibility for this position is maintaining Impact Live! The OCAC also assists the Online Community Coordinator (OCC) in maintaining my.amatyc.org
