Spreading the Word: Activities for Older Girls
Occasionally we hear about council-wide activities open to adults and girls and we are happy to help spread the word.
Holiday Extravaganza - A weekend of crafting to create handmade gifts perfect for gifting during the holiday season. This event is open to Cadettes, Seniors and Ambassadors and their friends! And best of all, this is not a troop-organized event (the chaperones, cooks, and workshop leaders are Girl Scout Alumnae). So please share this opportunity with your Girl Scouts. Registration is now open and closes at the end of the month. Click here for the flier. Click here to register.
Voices for Change - Calling all Cadettes, Seniors and Ambassadors who are interested in how governance works. Voices for Change is a program held at Camp Bothin that will help girls learn how things get done in Girl Scouts, in our country and around the world. This year's focus is Global Governance. We are seeking older girls interested in planning the event and asking girls to save the date. If you would like to be part of the planning team, please contact Eavan Huth at ehuth@gsnorcal.org.
