What a Week…Include a Charity Week 2023 in pictures |
|
We really couldn’t have asked for anything more from IAC Week 2023. It was nothing short of phenomenal. Thank you to all our members who came along to hear from our international guests, Ashley and Claire. To Rikki Andrews and Lord Mayors Charitable Foundation for sponsoring IAC Week. And, of course, for promoting the campaign through your own growing programs and sharing the media exposure across your networks. What a community we are…! |

Our Education seminars in Sydney (Notre Dame University) and Melbourne (Victoria University, pictured above) were good opportunities to share fundraising styles and differences and hopefully bring in more IAC members from the education sector. |
|
 | Above: the CEO Roundtable at Koda Capital, who manage many bequest funds, was dynamite. It was led by Chris Wilson - a trustee of the Betty Amsden Foundation. |
| | Above and below: The Bequests and the Future breakfast at Aitken Partners unearthed some fascinating insights into legal thinking and behaviours. The panel discussion at the close unwrapped some of the issues for charities and will-makers and ways we can work together to improve pathways and outcomes for gifts in Wills. |

It was a demanding 14 days on the road in Sydney, Perth and Melbourne with presentations, workshops and media interviews by Ashley Rowthorn and Dr Claire Routley - but they did us proud, and the feedback has been superlative.
Writing a Will, including a gift to a cause you care about and sharing this with your loved ones is one of the most profound things we can do in our lives. Research, wisdom and knowledge was shared on the roadshow and our common humanity emerged in the fundraising, legal and investment audiences: Resulting in a renewed commitment to working together to deliver this milestone act of life.
Special thanks to our exceptional hosts Stroke Foundation, Victoria University, The University of Notre Dame Australia, HLB Mann Judd, RPH Research Foundation, Royal Lifesaving WA, Koda Capital, Aitken Partners, our major sponsors Lord Mayor's Charitable Foundation and all the attendees who came with open, willing hearts and minds to learn, share, grow and contribute.
