Interested in co-authoring a scientific journal publication?
Members of the AOMA are invited to partner with the College of Health Solutions at Arizona State University and participate in a NIDA-sponsored study of Physician Surveys and Interviews on Medical Data Sensitive Categorization. Part of a 5-year-old research grant, the study is designed to understand how physicians with different specialties, training, and experience classify health information into sensitive data categories (e.g., mental health information).
The study is expected to take at most two hours in total and has two parts: an online 60-minute survey and a 60-minute follow-up interview via Zoom.
Physicians who complete both parts of the study are invited to co-author a scientific journal publication on this research. To be eligible, physicians must:
- Be licensed DO or MD with an active board certification
- Be an English speaker and at least 18 years old
- Have a computer or tablet with internet access
- Should you choose to participate, please note that:
- Your survey answers will not be linked to your name or organization
- You may decline to answer any question and stop participation at any time
This study is led by Dr. Adela Grando, Associate Professor, College of Health Solutions at Arizona State University. The team looks forward to working with AOMA physician members and thanks you in advance for your time.
