Support University of Maryland's NearSpace Team's Nationwide Eclipse Ballooning Project!

The University of Maryland NearSpace Team will be traveling to two solar eclipses over the next year to launch scientific balloons in the path of totality.

These trips will be the culmination of UMD's two-year long participation in the Nationwide Eclipse Ballooning Project, which provided leadership and training for eight college teams to launch weather balloons that obtain atmospheric data and video footage that is of interest to NASA.

The team needs your support to complete these final missions, and ensure that all participating students can travel to the two launch sites on the day's of the pending solar eclipses.
