The Magic of a Focused Team

I've just returned after doing a quarterly session with one of my favourite clients. This is their third quarterly and we're getting ready for their annual, so it's really an exciting place in the journey.

What sets this team apart from some of my other clients, is that they're a small team, there are only three people around the leadership table, but they're terribly focused, wonderfully focused. They are so focused, and they are so focused on learning and getting better, and they're just a sponge for all the tools.

We handle the tools one after the other, we grow very quickly together, because they've got no egos in the way, there are no politics, there's no grandstanding, they have difficult conversations and they always focus on the business, what's best for the business and what will take the business forward.

This means that I can pack more into their sessions than I can pack into any of the sessions of my other clients. This means that they can pivot quickly in the marketplace - right now the marketplace is not the best place to be - so they could make adjustments, they could correct their course in record time and they are very responsive. It makes them stronger, it's making them more profitable, and it makes them a joy to work with.

So there you have it, one of the joys of EOS is that you can move quickly, that you can be very focused and big or small, you can beat the competition.
