Join us Sunday, September 17
2:30-4:30 at Carol Woods in Chapel Hill

Hello everyone and welcome to our 2023-24 recorder playing season. Being able to be back in person all year last year was fantastic, and I look forward to a great season ahead!  Our officers have been busy organizing our season, and I want to say thanks to them for their work!

This year we will continue to enjoy our playing sessions under the direction of the talented Phil Hollar, Pat Peterson, and Jennifer Streeter.  Eric Haas has created a new anthology for us called “One More Time” , a collection of favorites of the Renaissance and Baroque times and their variations. The anthology will be distributed at the September meeting, so please bring a check or cash to the session. The anthology is $10. It would be great to have more attending the playing sessions this year, so please try to make as many as you can and bring another player or two with you!  I look forward to seeing everyone soon!

SEPTEMBER PLAYING SESSION- this Sunday!

Our September session will be held at Carol Woods.  Thank you to Marie Grauerholz for making these arrangements for our group and to TRS member Martha Hsu for hosting. The playing session will be led by Sue Ann Wright.

We will have the new anthologies available at the meeting, so Sue Ann can't assign you pieces to practice ahead of time this month!  We are looking forward to digging into the new music.

Sunday, September 17  2:30-4:30pm,  Building One Classroom at Carol Woods

Directions: Follow your GPS to Carol Woods and park near Building One.  Enter Building One and head toward the back.  The classroom is a few steps away on the ground floor.

If you have questions please email trianglerecorder@gmail.com.

DUES

This year our dues will return to our pre-pandemic schedule. Several officers have been out of town so we have not posted the final membership information for 2023-24.  We will announce it and set up the online form in the next few weeks.

If you prefer to pay per session, each session is $15.00.  If you are a first time visitor, your first playing session is free. The cost for the anthology is $10.00.

You can pay by check this Sunday, give checks made out to Triangle Recorder Society  to TRS treasurer Nancy Williamson. Or, wait and pay via Paypal. We will update our Membership page on the website soon. Thank you for your patience!
