In this mini course, Michael Cadiz of Cadiz Guitars shows you three different methods to design and execute this feature while building a classical guitar using the traditional Spanish solera construction method. Although Michael demonstrates on a classical guitar, one can use the methods learned in this course and adapt them to make an elevated fretboard on an acoustic guitar as well.
This course focuses specifically on the elevated fretboard. It is understood that the viewer has at least basic knowledge of the complete construction methods used in the making of a traditional classical guitar.
