Our Annual Day of Giving will be on November 3, 2023 from 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. at our office, located at 13 East George Street, Suite B, Batesville, IN. 

This is the perfect day to start a new fund or donate to a worthy cause that benefits one of our four service areas: Health, Education, and Well-Being, Business and Entrepreneurship, Arts and Culture, and Environment and Natural Resources. When you donate to a charitable cause, it may be eligible for a 50% match! 

Bringing a donation to benefit the Pregnancy Hotline will enter you into a drawing to select a charitable organization of your choice to receive a $5oo grant!

*Matching funds may be placed into an endowed fund of the donor's choice and shall not exceed
$5,000 per fund. A total of $75,000 in matching funds is available on a first come, first served basis.

The Batesville and Milan Varsity Football Teams are teaming up to
Turnover Hunger in our local elementary schools!

So far, we have raised over $9,000 for Turnover Hunger! While this is great, it only allows us to support 25 students for one semester. With over 600 students in need of food on weekends, the need is still great!

At the end of the football season, all pledges & donations are collected and granted to five local elementary schools: Batesville Primary School, Jac-Cen-Del, Milan, South Ripley, and Sunman Elementary Schools, These funds support the Weekend BackSack Program, which sends a backpack of food home with students that otherwise would not be provided food on the weekends.

Carson Phillips will intern with us for the first semester of his senior year at Oldenburg Academy. He shares his excitement for this internship by saying, "I've always wanted to know how a nonprofit organization operates. Thanks to the Ripley County Community Foundation, I get to give back to the community, learn how to form connections, and run organizations." 

The Hillenbrand Partner with Possibility Grant has been awarded to 7 local organizations including Batesville Area Ministerial Food Pantry, Batesville Community Education Foundation, City of Batesville Fire/EMS, Kids Discovery Factory, Margaret Mary Health Foundation, Safe Passage, and Southeastern Indiana Dance Inc.
