Register for LabTech 2023

Join the IT Division in-person or online at LabTech 2023 on Thursday, November 2 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. LabTech is a free, hybrid event focused on computing and technology. From productivity tools to the Lawrencium Supercluster, everyone will find a topic of interest!

Berkeley Lab staff, affiliates, and external collaborators are invited to register at labtech.lbl.gov before the deadline on October 18.

Jimmy Mai and Mentoring@LBNL Team Recognized with 2023 Director’s IDEA Award 

Congratulations to Jimmy Mai, recipient of the 2023 Director’s IDEA Award for Exceptional Achievement in IDEA-Mentoring! Jimmy is a Computer Systems Engineer in the IT Support Services group and a dedicated member of the Mentoring@LBNL team. 

Nominated by Aditi Chakravarty, the Lab's Chief Culture Officer, the team was recognized for “building the critical foundations of a complex mentoring ecosystem that fulfills different employee needs around mentorship while also modeling the value of team science and cross-Lab collaboration over a 3 year period.”
