Speaker: Floridians for Democracy
Our two speakers will be Jim Cull and Jeff Nathan, who are both veterans. They have co-founded Floridians for Democracy. Floridians for Democracy is a new group based in Ft. Myers with the goal of protecting democracy in Florida. Floridians for Democracy is co-sponsoring with FLVCS the talk by Prof. Ben-Ghiat on Veterans Day in Sarasota.
Apology: The scheduled speaker was Rep. Anna Eskamani. She had to cancel because of an unexpected conflict in her district. She is re-scheduled for our November meeting.
We are pleased that we can fill-in with such good substitutes at the last minute.
