In loving memory, Jürgen Claus, was an irreplaceable pillar of the Leonardo community. Jürgen's work will remain a testament to the power of innovation, artistic exploration, and transdisciplinary work at the intersection of art, science, and technology. As an artist of diverse talents, Jürgen embraced various techniques from painting to film, from light to underwater installations. In 1995 he was awarded the European Solar Prize for his pioneering solar sculptures. Despite our heavy hearts, Jürgen's enduring legacy will forever shine through his work, inspiring us to boldly push the boundaries of creativity.

The exhibition is comprised of three layers—media installation, sound, and performance—that invoke technologies developed to rediscover and affect the space. The Deering Estate, a historical landmark with over 450 acres of natural landscapes, including eight native ecosystems, will host a series of sound and multimedia installations. These pieces created with CYLAND Media Art Lab engineers will be in dialogue with the historical context of the place, irrevocably connected both to the past and future, the urban and natural.
