The Forsyth County Democratic Party participated in the National MoveOn.org Rally to show solidarity for the homeowners that find themselves in under-water mortgages.

The majority of Public response was very supportive. In fact, we picked up some demonstrators along the way.

Forsyth County Democrats assist with local charity event.
The "Dinner for the Hungry" feeds those less fortunate the 3rd Saturday of the month. Coordinated by The MSG Foundation as one of its assist- ance programs,
|
|
|
|
numerous civic organizations and businesses partner on this event. The McDonald and Son Community Room serves as the preparation site and dinning room for those wishing
to "dine in".

|
The event also includes five distribution sites for those individuals that may have transportation issues. The February dinner fed right at 300 individuals. For more information regarding volunteer opportunities and donations, please visit www.MSGfound.org.
