Attend 'Furs, Frogs, Flowers, and Feathers: Springtime Exploration Day' at the North Dakota Heritage Center & State Museum
BISMARCK, N.D. – Families are invited to celebrate the arrival of spring with a free day of hands-on learning at the North Dakota Heritage Center & State Museum, Bismarck. “Furs, Frogs, Flowers, and Feathers: Springtime Exploration Day” will take place on Saturday, April 12, 10:30 a.m.-4 p.m., offering interactive stations that explore the changes and cycles of nature in the spring season.
Engage with a variety of educational activities throughout the State Museum’s Corridor of History. Stations will feature animal furs and coloration, wildlife tracks, frog life cycles and calls, bird identification, and the role of pollinating wildflowers. Designed especially for elementary-age children, the event encourages hands-on exploration and discovery.
This event is presented in partnership with North Dakota’s Gateway to Science. No registration is required, and families are welcome to arrive at any time to participate in as many activities as they choose. Admission is free.
