Water Damage Repair at 120 Shawmut We appreciate your prayers and concern regarding the recent storms damage. Repairs are underway to fix the roof leaks and restore the affected areas on the third floor. Thankfully, insurance will cover the costs. For any questions, please contact the facility staff.

Ongoing Announcements
Project Destiny Summer Camper Application is now available! Project Destiny Summer is BCEC’s 5-week summer program for students currently in grades 5-8. The program dates are 7/1-8/1 at our Chinatown campus. Apply at www.project-destiny.com/camper2025/. The deadline to apply is May 2, 2025.
The Chinatown Respite Care hosts monthly sessions for kids with disabilities where they engage in Christian activities and provides parents and caretakers a chance to de-stress. The next session will be on April 26th between 4-8 PM at 120 Shawmut. We welcome those who have prior experience with CRC and those who are new with no experience but can commit to at least 2 sessions to participate. We unfortunately do not provide volunteer hours. Grounded in Grace: One-Day Parenting Conference BCEC is co-sponsoring a one-day parenting conference on Saturday, May 17 at Hope Fellowship Church in Cambridge. BCEC folks can use the code "BCEC25" for a $10 discount. More details and registration can be found here.
Project Destiny Summer Looking for a way to serve the local community? PD is BCEC’s Summer Activities that serves middle schoolers in Chinatown. We’re recruiting a team of adult/college/high school Christians for an 8-week adventure of life and gospel ministry in the city (June 19-August 6). Get info and get in touch about your interest here.

Chinatown Campus Sunday Parking
Please do not park in the 120 Shawmut parking lot on Sundays, as it is reserved for staff and guest speakers only. Parking is available at the Herald Street Garage for those with a valid parking permit. Temporary parking passes are available at all welcome tables.

Opportunities to Serve
Sunday Service Teams are looking for volunteers to serve the Chinatown English congregation in its Sunday worship services. If you're interested in joining the Worship Team, Tech Team, or Hospitality Team, you can find more info and the team contact in the Ministry Directory.
Nursery & Preschool TAs Want to serve the precious little ones in our church? We are looking for nursery volunteers to help 9:15am-10:45am on a once a month rotation. We are also looking for Preschool Sunday School teacher assistants 11:00am-12:45pm. No experience necessary. Scheduling is flexible. Please contact Lorraine Ho if interested.
Boston Rescue Mission The Social Responsibility Committee is resuming bringing volunteers to serve food to folks at the Boston Rescue Mission during the lunchtime of every 3rd Saturday in even-numbered months going forward. If you or your small group is interested in serving on April 19th, please call or text Szechun Leung at 617-304-6562.

Want to make long-lasting impact in families and a community? New Sight (eye hospital) will be launching children’s day camps this summer to work alongside the New Sight team to share the gospel and love of Jesus. Some French is helpful but not mandatory. Approx. cost- $3500.
