Worshipping Together
The Parish Eucharist takes place on Sundays at 10am. All are welcome.  Morning Prayer is said in Church at 9am on Monday to Friday and Sunday.  Weekday Eucharists take place on Wednesdays and Fridays at 12.15pm; the first Wednesday of the Month is a Healing Mass. So that we can begin to reduce our paper usage, for environmental reasons we encourage you to view the order of service on a device if possible: these are available here.

The Music List for March can be found here

Liverpool Parish Church is open for private prayer every day from 9am until 5pm.

Caring for Each Other

There are many social and pastoral networks within St Nick's, so please do continue to care for each other in your normal way, having particular regard for the vulnerable and housebound. If you are concerned about anyone in the congregation then please e-mail the pastoral team or the clergy.
In other news
Pat Herman RIP
Everyone will be sorry to hear that Pat died on Sunday morning after a brief stay in hospital. She maintained her independence until the end thanks to the support of her friends, who will miss her keenly. Pat was a faithful member of our congregation for many years who will be remembered with affection. Her funeral will be held in church, date yet to be determined.

Sunflower Dreams Art Exhibition 21-27 March
This Ukrainian Children's Art Exhibition was launched on Friday and there will be one final event on Thursday 27 March , starting at 6pm , which is a poetry event with responses to the children's artwork. Do join us for this free event if you are able to and also drop in to see the exhibition this week.

Quiet Morning for Lent
A reminder to all attending this event that we will meet at 9.30 for a 10am start. A simple lunch (soup, bread, cheese) will be provided at the end and it will finish about 1pm.

News of Derby
We have been able to send Derby the donation raised by the congregation. So thank you for your support.  Please continue to hold him in your prayers as he navigates this difficult time. The following is from Derby:

'I am extremely grateful to you to have taken the initiative to support me in that difficult moment I am facing. I am grateful to the whole parish church. It means a lot for me to see that I am not being left alone by my friends from the parish church in Liverpool. A temporary support can have a positive impact for a lifetime. Thank you to everyone at the parish church, I am staying positive and I will keep looking for opportunities to cross this impasse of my life. But the most important thing is that I can feel that I am not alone.'

National Bell Ringing Contest
Our bell ringers hosted a very successful event when seven other ringing teams came on Saturday for this national event. Although our home team did not come first , it was an enjoyable day for all.

Lent House Masses
The sign up sheet for the Wirral House Mass on Thursday 10 April 7pm will be available on Sunday. Clare and Nick will provide directions if you have not been before.

Holy Week
See the flyer below for our services during Holy Week. All are welcome, so please invite those you know to join us.

Altar Of Repose Maundy Thursday
As is our practice, we will be having an Altar of Repose as part of our Maundy Thursday liturgy. If you would like to give a lily in memory of a loved one for this we are suggesting a donation of £5. The names of the departed will be displayed beside the altar, so please sign the sheet in the Narthex listing those who you wish to be remembered. Pat will collect the money for this. If you do not wish to do this , but would like to make a contribution towards Easter flowers instead, the donations box will be on the refreshments table for the next few weeks. Contributions can also be made via the office.

Easter Garden
The children ( with their responsible adult), are invited to come to church on Holy Saturday, 19 April at 10am to help build the Easter Garden. It would be lovely to see as many of our Sunday School children as possible. We anticipate it taking no more than an hour.

Electoral Roll
Most people have now completed an electoral roll form but if you have not yet done so they are still available over the next couple of  weeks. Please do fill one in if you have been a member of the congregation for at least six months and consider St Nick's ( LPC) to be your spiritual home.

Eco tip: chose a new internet browser
Forget Chrome, Firefox, Google and Yahoo: use Ecosia as your internet browser and search engine for an ethical and environmentally-friendly use of the internet. Ecosia uses 100% of its profits for the profit and produces enough renewable energy to power all searches twice over.  Since their launch in 2009 they have planted over 220 million trees and donated more than 92 million euros to climate action. To find out more and download the browser go to: https://www.ecosia.org/

The poetry workshop on Sunday for the Sunflower Dreams Project saw a sharing of poems inspired by the children's artwork, which is on display. We were also delighted to welcome the ' Children Sing' choir to this event.
Liverpool Parish Church takes the safety of everyone within our church very seriously and expect that everyone will work within the safeguarding policy of the parish, a copy of which can be found on our noticeboards and here
