Read about our new app version 1.9.1, other updates and the launch of our latest dealer version 4.

The new version 1.9.1 of the Bridge+More solution is available in all the app stores - notice, that your tablet(-s) can be set to update automatically to a new version. 
 
Version 1.9.1 is an update you should not postpone as we strongly recommend you update to 1.9.1. To offer our users the best game experience, we do complex updates every two years to elevate our solutions to the next level of development. 

 
After you have updated your device's app to version 1.9.1 please: 

• Connect the tablet/phone to the dealer to update the dealer's firmware (please check the firmware is 3.99.18 from 12.03.25).  
  
  Why firmware update is requested? This will provide relevant data and details about the tear and use of the cards. We will be better to suggest our users when a calibration and gap adjustment is needed and when a single card needs to be cleaned, or a deck needs to be replaced. 
  
  Please Note, that you have an option to postpone the firmware update as it might not be the right time (it takes several minutes). To postpone use the pop-up shown on the Dealer Connection screen - but notice it is not recommended you postpone.  
   

• After you have updated the app and the dealer's firmware, please calibrate the dealer using the 2 decks card calibration option. How to – please click here.  

Please note, that a common mistake is not to wait for N to blink, this will tell you the dealer is ready to calibrate the cards. We want to ensure the calibration measures new data precisely to set the basis for tear and wear - therefore, if you get a code 56 press Cancel and try again (please check card order as well). 

 
In general, and as part of the calibration you can experience a code 95 or 96 - we had in version 1.9 increased the likelihood of getting an error 95 - we registered data - and have taken this into account in 1.9.1. Therefore, we recommend a gap adjustment as part of the new app upgrade – and we have rewritten our guide for gap adjustment into more steps, please click here. 
 
If you use the older app version - numbered 8.8 or lower (mainly 8.55) - you will soon not be able to play before you have updated - read more here or contact us.  

We are contacting all our users with an older app version. Please do not have two versions installed as you might choose the wrong old one (have a black dealer icon). The new app version icon is a red +. 
 
The primary purposes of app version 1.9 are also to support dealer 4 and to improve, change, or fix some specific details such as: 

• Improved the Offline handling - Check for a possible automatic reconnect made more efficient. 

• Improved Calibration - measure and follow card tear and wear  

• Minor fixes. 

Version 1.9 has been improved since its launch with minor changes - illustrated with an extra decimal to 1.9.1. We do not send out newsletters for all small version changes, therefore we recommend that you use your app provider's update options. 
 
Our next app version 2.0 will have a new principle for handling any redealing of cards when required and inform you about the tear and wear level of your cards and the card's UV codes.
