Outside the Studio

I wanted to share a little about myself for those who don't know me. I am a mother of two very active boys and wife to a very supportive husband. I grew up in Tennessee on a dairy farm and still live on the same property the cows used to graze on. The photo above is of my first home, and is also the home we brought our second son home from the hospital to. I have always loved to draw and paint. Upon graduating O'More College of Design, I worked for LifeWay as a graphic artist until my first son was born. I then began doing what I love by illustrating, painting furniture and faux finishing—a paintbrush and pencil was involved. After the birth of my second son, I began another calling of creativity by becoming the children's director at my church. Fast forward to today, I am enjoying painting all together through daily painting for the last 3 years. It is amazing when I look back at the journey and where God has led me full circle to what I have always wanted to do. The best part is sharing with everyone and bringing joy through studying the Master's work. Soli Deo Gloria—To God alone be the glory.

Puppy Love!

Love this idea to forever have your puppy's pawprint.

Be sure and use a nontoxic paint and be by an outside faucet to wash your puppy's paw as soon as you have the print. Might be a two person craft project. :)
Thanks Kelly on PInterest for the idea.
