At Chelsea this year we are growing for 3 show gardens, The Arthritis Research UK Garden designed by Tom Hoblyn, The L'Occitane Immortelle Garden designed by Peter Dowle and The RBC Blue Water Garden designed by Nigel Dunnet.

We are also in the process of designing our retail stand for Chelsea. We are very excited to be on Main Avenue next door to The Arthritis Research UK Garden. We will be launching three new Seed Collections; Edible Flowers, Herbal Tea and Oriental, alongside our popular organic loose-leaf Herbal Teas, Books and Herbal Gifts.

Jekka's Herb Farm Open Days

The herb farm is once again opening its doors, with our first Open Days of the season on the 30th, 31st March & 1st April, from 10am - 4pm.
Our open days are an unique opportunity to browse and buy from one of the largest collection of organically hand-raised herbs in the UK. Pick up expert tips and advice, from Jekka and her knowledgeable team. Plus sample the seasonal delights from our onsite caterers, Berry-blue, perfect for those travelling some distance.
During the Open Days, Jekka will be giving a series of free themed talks; the first one in March is entitled ‘Spring into Action.’  at 10.30am & 2.30pm.

Herb Workshops

During our Open Days, Jekka hosts practical workshops, which are an enjoyable and informative experience for anyone passionate about gardening. Learn tips of the trade and be guided through a step by step process. The first workshop is 'How to Sow Seed'. We recommend booking in advance as places are limited to 15 people a day.

14th March at Frome Valley WI  group, 20th March with the students of Fifteen, 21st March at Lechlade Gardening Club and on the 27th March at West of England Herb Group.

Our Silver Jubilee

In the lead up to the farm's Silver Jubilee celebration, we have all been reflecting back on the last 25 years and just how much we have achieved. Many of our friends and colleagues have very kindly taken the time to write a story about the Farm and Jekka, here is an extract;

"Jekka is my herbaceous girlfriend and an absolute star.  We became good friends very quickly, bonding over all the different varieties of thyme, which I love to cook with. There was a lot to talk about: there are more than 100 varieties of thyme and, fresh or dry, it goes brilliantly with meat, fish, roast vegetables, cheese – pretty much anything. It can even be made into a tea and sprayed around doorways to repel insects and pests. Sadly it doesn't work on my kids… " Jamie Oliver
