    • Have you marked your calendar yet for Bike to Work Day?  May 18 is the day to try the active alternative to driving, and it's going to be a day to remember!  Thanks to our sponsors - Newport Preservation Society, AARP-RI and Newport Bicycle - and our partners at Washington Square Roots, it's going to be a full day of activities taking place in and around Washington Square, the historic center of town.   Information will be coming soon - meanwhile, hold the date, get your employers on board and come to our weekly planning meeting to help out! Planning meetings will take place every Tuesday at 6pm at People's Cafe, 282 Thames Street, from now to Bike to Work Day.
