I just got back from a wonderful trip to Charleston, SC to visit our oldest daughter Laura, along with my Mom and and younger daughter Lisa. My son-in-law Eric put up with alot of laughing, silly stories and girl talk and was a wonderful host. Here we are having brunch in the beautiful courtyard of 42 Queens, a famous restaraunt in the historic section of Charleston. Creative Journey Watercolor Collage
Last month I taught a Workshop on Watercolor Collage where we focused on aspen trees and rocks. Collage is a great way to add texture to a watercolor and hand painting your own tissue is an inexpensive and effective way to create collage papers. You can also use decorative rice papers and any found papers you may have on hand.
