Dale McGowan to Keynote Ottawa Fall Gathering
 
Parenting Beyond BeliefDALE MCGOWAN, editor and co-author of Parenting Beyond Belief and Raising Freethinkers, two groundbreaking books for nonreligious parents, will be the keynote speaker at the CUC Eastern Regional Fall Gathering in Ottawa from October 12-14, 2012.

The gathering theme is “A Time for All Ages” — the weekend is being planned as an innovative, integrated multigenerational experience. Dates and some details for the Central, Western and B.C. Gatherings are also available.

3 CUC Staff Positions Eliminated

CUC President Gary GrootIN A LETTER to congregational Presidents in late March, CUC President Gary Groot has announced a Board decision to eliminate three senior staff positions, in an effort to balance the budget by the end of 2013.

CUC Director of Congregational Development Linda Thomson, Director of Finance Phil Strapp and Director of Communications Ben Wolfe will end their work on May 31st. Other Board decisions were also announced.
