I hope March has been treating you well. This Mercury in Retrograde has been throwing some challenges my way as I’m sure many of you are finding as well!
Right now I’m in the middle of developing a webseries with the collaborative of artists that I lead. It’s exciting to be doing my own projects! I’m also in pre-production for a short that I’m producing. I will star alongside Lenka Svobodova. My very talented and wonderful friend Mike Roby of Dancing Gecko Films will be shooting it for us on his fancy new RED Camera in April. (You might remember Mike’s name from “Ritual Abuse”, a scene he wrote for me and shot last year.)
A film that I helped work on last year just released the trailer. It’s called “Find Me”. The film stars and was produced by a friend of mine, Elizabeta Vidovic. Unfortunately, my scene was cut but  I had a great time helping out on set and the talent in this project is amazing. My good friend Cristen Irene, who you might recognize from “The Crypt”, also had a role in the film. Click here to see the trailer! |

My recommendation this month is different than normal as I go through a turbulent time. A couple weeks ago one of my aunts passed away. Like many of us, I had a complicated and sometimes strained relationship with this particular aunt. In her last days, I realized all the things that I wanted to say to her and forgive her for. While I didn’t get to say them to her directly, it was really essential to my grieving process that I get these things out. This month, I recommend that you feel what there is to feel and say what you need to say to those you love now. You never know how much time someone has left and the relationships we have cut off or shut down really need some healing and attention, even after someone has passed. It’s like that potato that you forget about in the pantry. Just because you forget about it, doesn’t mean it’s not going to fester and grow into something ugly without you realizing it. Shed light on those things you’ve been ignoring and your heart will glow from it.
