this week -- April showers!
Happy Monday, fancy folks! Though I know last week's theme may not have appealed to you non-basketball fans, I still really enjoyed seeing what you pulled together :) Many thanks for putting up with the technical difficulties in the last few weeks. They have been out of my control, which makes it all the more frustrating. As a result, last week's FF only had text links, rather than the normal thumbnails. It got me thinking that I really should ask you ladies what you prefer: do you like the thumbnails or the links best? I'll take your opinions into consideration for future weeks!
Since April is right around the corner, we're devoting this round of Friday's Fancies to prepping for the inevitable showers coming our way. Pull together an outfit which makes you feel chic even on the rainiest of days. Maybe it's a pair of great rainboots or a cute rain jacket, it's up to you! I'm looking forward to this theme because I always struggle with feeling cute during spring downpours. As always, if you want to deviate from the theme, no worries at all.
Don't worry: if you're not into the theme, you are more than welcome to create whatever outfit you like. The themes are simply a starting point to help get your creative juices flowing. Your only task is to dream big and strut your stuff!

With flowers popping up everywhere, spring is literally in full bloom. For the first Friday in April, florals will be the focus of Friday's Fancies! This week of Fancies will be devoted to trying out one of this season's hottest trends. If you don't want to channel your flower power, that's perfectly fine! You're always welcome to pull together whatever you like :)

Though bright and bold colors are stealing the show this season, we can't forget about the gorgeous pastel shades which are popping up this spring! We'll spend the 13th of April on feeling pretty in pastels :) After a long winter, it is so refreshing to see these softer hues emerging on the scene. Join in the pastel party--or create your own theme. It's up to you!
