this week: memorial day!
Hello again, friends! I wasn't sure how you'd like the super specific chambray prompt, but you ladies astounded me--per usual. The chambray-centered #FridaysFancies from last week got me in the mood for some sunshine. It works well then that the upcoming round of Friday's Fancies is all about Memorial Day :)
For this week, sunny skies are on the brain since this holiday weekend is the official start of summer! Pull together a look you'd wear this festive weekend for whatever you have on your docket, whether it's a barbeque or a beach day. If you're not in the States {or have another idea up your sleeve}, don't worry--the theme is always up to you, so don't feel tied down!
Many thanks again for your love and support of Friday's Fancies--I wouldn't be here without you all :) let me know if there is anything I can do to help you. Enjoy your week and I'll "see" you on Friday!
xoxo Alison
next week: rock the white!

With Memorial Day behind us by June 1st, I thought it would only be appropriate to "rock the white". {You know the old adage about wearing white after Memorial Day!} In any case, we'll be paying homage to white in our Friday's Fancies in two weeks. You're always welcome to rock a different color, so please don't feel pinned in by the theme!
in two weeks: short + sweet!

Shorts are one piece of clothing that I reserve for the summer months, unless I'm in the gym. I know you lucky ladies in the South may get to wear them all year round, but indulge me on June 8th by creating an outfit centered on this summery staple. You're always welcome to put your own twist on it :)
psst: don't forget to use your BLOG NAME when linking up your post on Fridays--it'll help get you all the recognition you deserve for your hard work. Please also use the DIRECT LINK to your post, rather than just the generic link to your blog so that your Friday's Fancies entry will go straight to your posts weeks and months down the line :) And remember: you always have the freedom to create whatever outfit you like--your only requirement is to dream big and not have to worry about the pricetags!
