Opening of the Market Square at Oló (Barcelona)
Last Sunday 6th May the new Market Square at Oló was opened to the public. We undertook the project and direction of works teaming up with Enginyeria Vall.
This square -as many other public spaces in our country- is built on the grounds of a former textile industry. Some of the buildings were maintained around the new space, which opens the views to the old part of town and allows for public congregations such as the weekly market.
The works were built by Moix within the allowed five months, and costed the 300.000 € which were originally budgeted (plus VAT)
The Power station is blooming already
Last year the power station in Zona Franca (Barcelona Harbour Logistics Area) started its activity. The main building was designed by FORGAS ARQUITECTES, whom we assisted with the design of its green façade. It was built with the Babylon system from Vivers Ter and it follows similar composition rules to the other façades, which refer to the activity of the station (power generation from biomass, gas and cooled water from LNG gasification)
The climbers have started to grow in their first season and they promise total coverage by their first year of growth. We bet on it!
