Preparing to serve

The Southern Wesleyan University Division of Religion held a commissioning service April 26 at historic Freedom’s Hill Church on the campus in Central for graduating religion students. Retirement Receognition

Reininga Named head volleyball coach
Southern Wesleyan University Director of Athletics Chris Williams announced the hiring of Julia Reininga as the next Head Volleyball Coach for the Warriors. Reininga comes to SWU after a successful coaching career at Bethel College in Mishawaka, Ind., where she posted a 288-182 (.613) career mark. Read more>>

After about six weeks of steady decline due to a late discovery of an aggressive tumor, University President Todd Voss' father went to be with the Lord on May 9, 2012. John Voss was 85 years old as of April 23. A small memorial service will be held next week for immediate family per John's request. In lieu of flowers, donations will be suggested to a hospice organization at a later date.
