Guide To Forms Of Separation
For specifiers, one of the most significant choices they face when specifying a low-voltage assembly, is the form of separation. Selection of an inappropriate form of separation will at the very least cause disappointment. As a consequence the assembly may either be much more expensive than necessary or it may be unsuitable for the application.

High altitude and electrical power systems
The design and application of electrical systems at elevations in excess of 1000 m (3000 ft) requires knowledge of the effects of atmospheric conditions on each particular component. Failure to understand adequately and include the effects of high altitude in the design and application of the equipment may result in its poor performance, premature aging, andlor failure.
