Happy Monday, everyone! While I was poolside in Miami on Friday, I couldn't get over the gorgeous stream of date night Friday's Fancies that came through all day long :) Thank you so much for bearing with me through the technical difficulties with blogger posting my post incorrectly, though I'd scheduled it at 12:00am EST. I'll be home this week, so don't worry: I promise it will be up right at 12:00 this Friday! I say it every week, but I mean it: thank you so much for your loyalty to Friday's Fancies--it means the world to me!
With a weekend full of festivities, I'm giving you the freedom to choose which you'd like to celebrate--the Kentucky Derby or Cinco de Mayo! Whether it's preppy or colorful, I know your outfits are sure to impress. If you have something else in mind, you know you're more than welcome to explore it. Next week's Friday's Fancies is all about color. All you need to do is pick a hue which suits your fancy and center your outfit around it...simple, right? I know I'll have a hard time choosing on May 11th, but thankfully, I have some time to prepare!
Chambray has been popping up everywhere this spring, so I thought it might be fun to devote a week to maximizing this fun fabric in our wardrobes. Remember: you're always open to create whatever you like if chambray isn't on your list for Friday, May 18th.
