Springboard South is a unique music festival where music fans will be presented with great new music, featuring local and national performers for 3 days, May 4-6. Two stages and 45 acts will span genres ranging from Brit pop to country.  Best of all, it’s free to the public thanks to generous sponsors, including CITYCENTRE’s Flora & Muse and Ruggles Green.

Lemonade Day is a free, fun, experiential learning program that teaches youth how to start, own and operate their own business using a lemonade stand as well as fundamental lessons about life, success and themselves.  Support these young entrepreneurs as they set up shop from Noon-5 PM in the plaza.

The Market brings an exciting dimension to the CITYCENTRE plaza with artists, entertainment and a myriad of specialty vendors every Sunday from 4-7 PM.  

Each week, highlights include: The Soap Truck features up to 10 varieties of premium, handmade soap, created using a 14-day cold curing process, and every 2nd Sunday starting May 13, CITYCENTRE resident Samantha Rensel spotlights Savory Celebration, a catering firm featuring personal chef services and prepared foods.

This month's event features traditional Cuban and Salsa muisc from Angelucho's CopaCabana. Held on the last Saturday of every month, Dancing Under the Stars has become one of the district’s most popular complimentary entertainment options.

COMING SOON:
Be Human Art Gallery aims to bring a new perspective to the local arts scene with an intimate space adjacent to Eddie V’s. The gallery’s founders, a trio of commercial artists, including Houston-based Shannon O’Hara, who regularly shoots for the pages of DISTRICT and Houston magazine, will focus on message-driven pieces meant to inspire and create dialogue. The gallery is set to host the 2012 Newspring Student Art Auction on Tuesday, May 8, featuring pieces from several Spring Branch ISD schools.

New sizzle coming to CITYCENTRE – Texas de Brazil, the Texas-born and nationally acclaimed Brazilian Steakhouse concept, will be debuting their first Houston location at CITYCENTRE later this year.  The churrascaria will be located across from The Tasting Room and bring a unique culinary offering to the district in what is anticipated to be a showcase setting.
