Wildflowers, APGA, and more with Holbrook Travel

South Africa is home to an entire floral kingdom, yet you wouldn’t know it from the dry, desert-like Namaqualand region. The area appears to be a wasteland for plant life, until one day between August and October it suddenly bursts into an endless patchwork of vibrant colors. A dazzling array of daisies and other wildflowers eclipse the landscape, captivating visitors for just a few short weeks before disappearing for another year.

From behind-the-scenes tours of floral nurseries to reforestation projects, international garden tours are the ideal way to see the natural wonders of the world.

Keeping Gardens Evergreen
Donations allow garden directors to continue tending to the plants at home while exploring the rest of the world’s flora. During the planning process, organizations can incorporate a donation into the tour’s cost to fundraise for their garden. For several of our 2013 departures, individuals can choose which garden their donation supports.

Making Memberships Blossom
Travel is an exciting way for public and private gardens to grow memberships and create lasting connections between members, donors, and staff. Our itineraries are fully customizable and can easily incorporate activities and locations to complement specific interests or areas of research.
