Big News from DUG
Denver Urban Gardens is excited to announce that in the spring of 2013, we will be moving to a new space, and we need your help to make it happen! Next year, Denver Urban Gardens will join a host of international development groups in a nonprofit shared space in Denver's Five Points neighborhood. This move will allow DUG to substantially increase our capacity to serve communities in building and sustaining community gardens, and will include ample training space, a walk-in cooler to support our youth farmers' markets and produce donation programs, a community produce market, a garden construction and maintenance workshop, a demonstration kitchen, an adjacent community garden, and much more! To learn more about this project, and how you can help us reach our goal of $30,000 in community support, click here.

Garden Leader Shoutout
Each DUG community garden is supported by one or more volunteer garden leaders that help manage the day-to-day operations of the garden, including organizing community work days, getting gardeners signed up for the season, and hosting garden events. This spring, we want to honor Len Lingo, a garden leader at the Taxi Community Garden. Click here to read more.
